9:00 AM - Noon Music Review and Breakout Sectional Workshops in Individual Classrooms
Noon – 12:45 PM LUNCH in Student Center
1:00 PM – 3:50 PM Breakout Sectional Workshops in Individual Classrooms
4:00 PM – 5:00 PM Full Ensemble Rehearsal/Workshop
5:00 PM – 6:30 PM Free Time
6:30 PM – 9:30 PM

Dinner and Beach Jam at Balboa Pier at Newport Beach (included in Registration Fee)  Bring beach towels for casual dining and feel free to also bring/wear swim suits for the beach. Paper products will be provided. Dinner provided by Wahoo's Fish Tacos®.

10:00 PM  End of Evening Activities.

10:00 AM – 3:00 PM Mariachi Nationals and Awards Ceremony at Orange County Fair
5:00 PM – 7:30 PM Return to Hotel, Change (Participants may want to have a snack or light meal before optional Prix Fixe Dinner at 8:30 PM at Cielito Lindo Restaurant
7:30 PM Depart Hotel to drive to Cielito Lindo Restaurant
8:30 PM – ????????? Dinner (Order right from the menu and get a 20% discount!) and Mariachi Sol de Mexico Show and Jam at Cielito Lindo Restaurant --Home of Mariachi Sol de Mexico® 
  IMPORTANT INFORMATION IF YOU ARE COMING TO CIELITO LINDO RESTAURANT FOR DINNER AND MARIACHI JAM SESSION: DINNER RESERVATIONS FOR THIS 8:30 SEATING ARE REQUIRED. CALL CIELITO LINDO RESTAURANT AT 626.442.1254 AND LET THEM KNOW THAT YOU ARE A MARIACHI NATIONALS PARTICIPANT.  IN ORDER TO GET THE 20% DISCOUNT, YOU MUST PROVIDE YOUR MARIACHI NATIONALS ID (NAMETAG). THE JAM SESSION WILL BEGIN AT 11:00 PM. IF ATTENDING THE JAM SESSION ONLY (NOT JOINING US FOR DINNER), YOU MAY ARRIVE BEGINNING AT 10:30.

  Orange County Fair is open from 10 AM until Midnight

The cost of Admission to the Fair is included in Registration Fee for each PAID PARTICIPANT.
Each PAID PARTICIPANT will also receive one (1) Complimentary Ticket to the Mariachi Sol de Mexico Show at the Orange County Fair (Tickets for non-participants including chaperones, parents, etc. are included in the $75 Registration Fee.)
  • Depart Hotel for Orange County Fair at Teachers’ Discretion
  • Performances by Mariachi Nationals Winners at their own Venues
  • Student Stages and Performance Schedule to be confirmed on site
